Project Manager
Job Responsibilities: Restoration Project Managers are responsible for the management of restoration projects, from the proposal stage to job completion, to ensure their timely completion. This will include client interface, surveying and estimating jobsites, budget and schedule tracking/coordination, technical staff direction, compliance with standards and quality evaluation of existing projects. Restoration Project Managers will also prepare estimates/proposals, invoice requests and work orders in consideration of labor and material costs along with overhead and profit; collaborate with job superintendents and contents crews; participate in Business Development efforts and assist with emergency pager responsibilities on a rotational basis. The nature of the field also requires mandatory attendance in industry training.
Preferred Qualifications: The successful candidate possesses either a college degree and/or commensurate experience in restoration project management. S/he is organized, well-spoken, able to multi-task and knowledgeable with computers and databases. Previous Xactimate experience and insurance/adjuster contacts are a must. S/he has proven skills managing deadlines and budgets and is able to drive to and from jobsites. The ability to communicate with all levels of personnel within his/her division and to communicate technical terms to non-technical audiences is a must.
